Starting on the Lough Tay viewpoint.

Run through the Ballinastoe Woods up the side of Djouce, then back over White Hill and down the Wicklow Way trail to your bike.

Note: as this route takes place is a designated 'Special Area of Concervation' (SAC). The section from Ballinasoe woods to the Wicklow way trail on Djouce is subject to change and will not be finalized until an inspection next spring.

While you will be running on hardwearing sustainable trails, a number of sections are uneven and you are required to wear trail shoes for both run sections. Examples of uneven railway sleepers used for both the Spink and Djouce run are shown below.
