    Hi,

I’m keen to join your club. Should I just turn up at a session?

    Regards,

    Niamh

      Niamh,
Yes, just pop along to a session. The mid week sessions are the shortest and easiest for beginners.
      Brian.

Hi, I was thinking about giving triathlon training a go. Is there any sessions over the winter?

      Paul,

The full list of the current winter triathlon training session are on this page. Pop along to the Friday night swims, which are very good for beginners.

      Kev,

Yes they’re all happening, plus a few more informal sessions. Do pop along to the shorter weekday sessions, which are great for beginners.

      Brian.

Training will definitely be on. Number maybe down, but actually the Christmas training session, usually get some club members who are back home for the holidays.

    Hi there,

I have never done triathlon and am interested in finding out a little bit about it. Will the Friday night swim be on next Friday January.

    Regards,

      Hi Cliodhna,
I am Ladies Officer at Belpark Tri Club, and we are delighted to welcome along new members. Yes swimming will be on at 7pm in Belvedere College this Friday. It caters for all levels, and is a great session for new people to come along to and find out about the club and triathlons. I will be there so can introduce to everyone else. My email is ellenwaterford@yahoo.com if you need directions or anything. We also will be running some ladies training events in the Spring, so I will add your email to the ladies mailing list if you like.
      All the best,
      Ellen

If you are coming to session give me an email at ellenwaterford@yahoo.com and I will look out for you.

There is also a new members evening this saturday at 8pm at Rathfarnham Club House if you want to come along and learn more about the club and triathlon racing. We also organise Ladies Training Workshops so have added you to the Ladies Mailing List

      All the best,

Hi Claire, further to Ellen’s reply below, other bus routes that are within walking distance are the 14 and 61 both are approx 10 minutes walk if you get off at beaumont ave in churchtown. The 75 bus goes along nutgrove ave which is where the run training occurs in the park beside Nutgrove Shopping centre. Helen

  8. colm says:

    Hi,

I am interested in joining the club and I am wondering what training do you offer for beginers with average fitness?

    • helenfrench says:

Hi Colm, apologies for delay in replying. Swim (fri) and run sessions (tues) are good ones to turn up to initially as they cater for all levels of ability. All detail is on the training section of thr website. There are different levels for cycling: beginner ( ever second sat), intermediate (sundays) and fast (sat) so it depends on how much biking you have done as to which bike session you do. Helen
