winter bikeClub Training - Spring 2011

By far the easiest way to introduce yourself to Belpark is to show up at any of the
mid-week sessions. The Thursday run or Friday swim are the best begineers sessions.

Tuesday  - Run Intervals

Run at 6:30pm
Running with Rathfarnham AC. This session is perfect of athletes of all abilities and
for those new to the club a great way to meet some of the club members. We all meet at the center of Nutgrove Park up to Easter (after easter the sessions will be start at the childrens playground in Bushy Park). Interval session vary from 5x2km in the winter to 10x600m in the race season.

Thursday - Circuits & Short Run Intervals

Running at 6:30pmbelpark-swim
Circuits & Intervals work with Rathfarnham running club. We all meet at Ballinter Community School for the main session and then do some short sprints in Nutgrove Park..

Friday - Swim

Swim at 7:00 - 8:00pm.
Swim training in Belevidere pool coached by Stephen McBride. Pool entrance is via the underground carpark on Temple Street.
We charge €6 for this session (€4 for students) to cover pool hire and coaching costs. This is the only session Belpark charge for, all other sessions during the week are free.

Saturday - Cycle

Cycle at 9:30am
Our usual Saturday spin with two groups 90min beginner group, 3hrs fast group meeting at the Rathfarnham clubhouse. Road or Tri bike required. Click here for more details of the cycle routes. See start location map here.
